Dragan Zdravković (1969, Belgrade) is a painter and a lecturer. Most recently, Zdravkovic participated in 57th Venice Biennale, 2017, in the exhibition ’Enclavia – Painting, consequence of this kind of life’ (Serbia) to a great critical acclaim. His work ’NWO Lines’ was selected for the auction at Leonardo DiCaprio’s annual summer art auction at St Tropez on 27th of July 2017, by the art advisor Lisa Schiff.
Zdravkovic graduated from the Department of painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade (1994), and received MA from the same department (1999). In 2011, he obtained a fellowship for the Leipzig International Art Programme in Germany. He lectured at SACI (Studio Art Centres International, New York/Firenze) as a visiting professor (2002, 2004) and as a tenured professor at Academy of Fine Arts, Belgrade (until 2014). He is one of the lecturers in “Outsideproject” – an academic summer school programme in Firenze (2005–2007). Also, he is one of the founders of the Centre for international art studies – CMUS in Belgrade and a Selector in 3rd International engraving Biennale of Douro, Portugal (2005). Since 2014, he teaches drawing and painting at the University of Arts, Faculty of applied arts in Belgrade. His works are included in several museums, galleries and private collections: Museum of Contemporary Art Belgrade (MoCAB); Museu do Douro (Portugal); Museum Zepter; Museum of the town of Mladenovac; National Museum, Vranje; CZK – Sopot; LIA – Lepizig International Art-Programme; and in private collections in Berlin (A. Schlag), Lepizig (Lenzer), Vienna (Zepter, Graf), etc.
