Using natural materials such as wood, iron, clay and combining them with synthetic materials like resin and plexiglass, I try to create works that enhance the erotic potential of different materials, allowing their industrial allure to emphasizes their hand-made quality.

Nicole Colombo creates avatars, fictional characters and objects that I dissect and remove from their contexts and I ask them to inhabit a space, and sometimes coexist in it, releasing a novel narrative pattern.
In her drawings, sculptural installations and objects, she combine aggressive and repulsive elements and, through them, she invite viewers to explore their deepest feelings and face emotions like anxiety, stress, uncertainty, pain, all the while investigating and manifesting the rhythmic passage of time.
