Born in 1994 in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia, Veljko Vučković earned his master's degree from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Serbia, under the guidance of Professor Nikola Božović in the Applied Painting Department. He has completed his PhD studies at the same faculty under the mentorship of Professor Ivan Grubanov.

 

From 2019 to 2024 he was working as a teaching associate at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade. Since 2024, he is employed as an assistant professor at the same faculty (Drawing and Painting courses). 

Vučković has showcased his work in 18 solo exhibitions and over 100 group exhibitions both regionally and internationally, garnering numerous recognitions and awards. His pieces are featured in permanent private and institutional collections both domestically and internationally.  

 

In 2025, he received the 1st International Prisma Art Prize Award in Rome. In 2024, he was honored with the Vladimir Veličković Foundation Award for Drawing in Serbia. Additionally, he has received the Momčilo Moma Marković Award for the best small format drawing, the third Niš Art Foundation Award, and was commended by the jury at the 14th International Biennial of Miniature Art in Gornji Milanovac.
